One of Cambridge's most picturesque riverside routes, following the Grand River through a quiet natural corridor. With no road crossings and a straightforward out-and-back, it is ideal for beginners and easy-paced kilometres.
Meeting spot: River Bluffs Park, 251 George St N, Cambridge, ON
Distance: 20 minutes out and back, turnaround at Blair Road.
Terrain: Paved multi-use trail with packed stone sections, mostly flat. Not winter friendly.
Good for: Stroller friendly with larger wheels, great for bikes, dogs on leash. One of our safer routes for families thanks to no road crossings.
Good to know: Shared with cyclists and walkers, keep right. Can be muddy after rain. Limited lighting after sunset. Bug spray recommended in warmer months.
