Central Park to Fountain, Preston

We’ve moved to well lit routes for the season!

Starting at Central Park, this route keeps us on the sidewalks past Riverside Park, across the Speed River and south along Fountain Street. With views of the river, a mix of downtown and roadside running, this a great option for members who enjoy an out-and-back route without complicated navigation.

Meeting spot:  615 King St E, Cambridge, ON

Distance:  20 minutes out and back. The planned route can extend up to 7KM

Terrain:  Well lit sidewalks, generally maintained throughout the winter

Good for:  Walkers, stroller friendly, kids on bikes with supervision, dogs on leash.

Good to know:  Fountain St. and King St. can be quite busy at times, always remain on sidewalks. Use the crosswalk at Waterloo St N. or Eagle St. Street parking available or a public lot at 644 Duke St. Washrooms at The Fiddle and Firkin during business hours; a great pub for a bite or drink after your run.
